1. Who we are
The controller is SHLAFZN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with number 17423880. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Director: Jaouad Baais. Email: shlafzn.ltd@gmail.com.
We have not published an ICO registration number on this site. We assess whether a data protection fee is due and register with the Information Commissioner’s Office where the law requires it. You can complain to the ICO whether or not we are on the register.
2. What we collect
- Identity and contact details you choose to send us: name, work email, company, store URL, and the message in your enquiry.
- Technical data the host of this website records in the ordinary course of serving a page, such as IP address, browser type, and the time of the request.
- A preference stored in local storage on your device recording whether you accepted or rejected the cookie notice. See the cookie notice.
The enquiry form does not submit to a database on this website. It opens your email application addressed to us. If you send that email, we receive it at shlafzn.ltd@gmail.com, which is a Google mailbox.
Photographs on this website are commissioned images for the design of the site. They are not photographs of our clients or of identified members of staff, and we do not use them to identify you.
3. Why we use it, and the lawful basis
- To answer an enquiry and, if we both agree, to prepare a proposal. Lawful basis: steps at your request prior to a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to businesses that write to us.
- To keep this website secure and to understand, in aggregate, whether it is available. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
- To remember your cookie choice. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in not repeating a notice you have already answered. The preference stays on your device.
- To meet a legal duty, including keeping records we are required to keep if a contract follows. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
4. Client work is separate
If you hire us to work on your store, your customers’ data is governed by the terms of engagement and, where we process that data on your instructions, by the data-processing clauses in those terms. This notice covers this website, not your shoppers.
This marketing site is not tagged with Stape, Addingwell, or an advertising pixel.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it with:
- Google, because enquiries are received in Gmail. Google acts as our processor for that mailbox.
- The business that hosts this website, as a processor, to deliver the pages and keep short security logs.
- Professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it, or where we need advice in connection with a claim.
6. International transfers
Google is established outside the United Kingdom. Where a supplier is in the United States, we rely on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework if that supplier is certified, or on the Information Commissioner’s International Data Transfer Agreement, or on another transfer tool the UK GDPR allows.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiry correspondence: 24 months from our last contact, unless a contract follows.
- Contract and accounting records: six years after the end of the contract, reflecting the Limitation Act 1980 and usual tax record keeping.
- Hosting logs: for the short period set by the host so the site can be kept secure.
- Your cookie preference: until you clear site data for this domain, or change it from Cookie settings in the footer.
8. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, erase, or restrict your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where the basis is contract, you may ask for a portable copy of the information you gave us. You may withdraw consent where we rely on consent. These rights are not absolute.
Write to shlafzn.ltd@gmail.com. We may need to confirm you are the person the information is about. We aim to respond within one month.
9. Children
This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Complaints
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/, or by post to Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF. We would like the chance to put something right first.
11. Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date above. If a change materially affects information we already hold about you, we will tell you where we reasonably can.
